Road Trip Ideas

Post by Mckaylodge » Thu Nov 14, 2019 10:38 am

Don't like traffic with your Ural?
This interactive website identifies some of the loneliest paved roads in the all the states and including Alaska.
Like with Google Maps, you can use your computer to virtually travel down these roads, some for hundreds of miles.
Of course a virtual drive using your computer of the Dalton road in Alaska is beautiful.
I see in my state of Ohio route 571 is identified which runs near the Ural dealer Heindl Engineering.

I see a road going through Millville, NJ (where the NY Motorsports Park is located) is listed.
Interesting, I'd think there would be much more lonelier roads than that.

Current Herd all running amok:
2019 Honda CRF450L (Elec Start)
2008 Vespa 150S (Elec & Kick Start)
2007 Ural Patrol (2WD, Elec & Kick Start)
2006 Honda "Big Ruckus" PS250 (Elec Start)
1991 Honda XR250L (Kick Start Only) *NOT running amok, out for Bottom & Top-End Rebuild.
1986 Yamaha BW200ES (Elec & Kick Start)

List what you "have", keep the others in your precious memory bank.

You need to throw Canada in their as well.

Western 2/3 is low population sans Regina, Vancouver area and Edmonton, Calgary, (probably a few others)

Western US is wide open.
