Goggles or windshield, what do YOU use?

I use a helmet with a face shield because I think what's in my noggin is worth protecting.

No windshield on bike, with a street or dual sport style helmet with ANSI impact rated clear or tinted safety glasses, sun condition depending.

I believe in full face protection and I hate catching a beetle in the face at 50mph.
But I also like air flow, so I keep my screen up, hence the wrap around safety glasses.

Goggles-only doesn't protect the whole face, a windshield hampers airflow.

I've almost always had fairing on my bikes. However, when I bought this Ural, the fairing was on backorder for over three months so I bought high-quality googles. I actually thought they worked pretty well but when the fairing arrived, the difference was/is incredible. The main thing about the fairing is it almost eliminates the wind beating on my body. In fact, the fairing makes me love my Ural even more. In my opinion, the Ural fairing works extremely well. The googles just keep bugs and sand out of your eyes.

I was told that the difference between open and full face helmets was " open or closed casket"
That being said , I have ridden no helmet with sunglasses , half helmet with goggles, now its all face helmet.I have been legally riding since 1957.
I rode my Ural without a faring for 4 years . Now I run the factory faring with bark buster "storm "hand guards . It runs cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

For me it's a comfort/weather thing. I like the function of the Ural fairings so I use'm. Googles were great in the day and occasionally(rarely) still use'm but I'm much older now and comfort is higher up the priority list than it used to be.

Windscreen on both bike and tub, dog rides in tub and loves the windscreen, hates googles and will watch them off her head every time. I like the windscreen over googles, as my glasses do not fit under them. Only minor complaint I have with the windscreens is my beard ends up sticking straight out after a long ride.

Full Face with facesheild for any off-road riding. Sometimes on the street too. Otherwise 3/4 helmet with safety glasses or sunglasses all other times.

Unless the came with them as part of the frame or bodywork I've never liked windscreens on any bike. Neither did my pup. Why do you think they hang outside the window of you car to get the wind in their faces and let their ear wave?

Dark goggles are a lifesaver driving west in late afternoon. That side glare from around standard glasses can be killer. Mine are also prescription - wouldn't roll without them.

Windscreen and full face at night, 1/2 shell during the day with ANSI 87+ sunglasses. My arms aren't as strong as they used to be, so I sacrifice 2 mpg to keep the wind off me. Keeps the bugs off also.
