Kvestion: how does the Enduro seat attach in the front? Would the same thumbscrews as the rear be appropriate to use in front for tool-less seat removal?

The front of the OEM Enduro seat on my '18 is retained by a [larger] single bolt and Nyloc nut.

Oh, okay, so I could just use a knurl knob. I've already got a bunch of those. Thanks!

EDIT - Wait, is it a nut and a bolt that go through some kind of retaining tab, or is it a stud that sticks out of the bottom.of the seat pan, like the old bench seats?

Did I say M17? That's the spanner size, I think. So is a M10. (?)

Ah, excellent. I can use one of the plethora of knurl knobs I ordered to use with my "quick-release" sidecar windshield and Jack mount.

16mm is plenty, but the seat will accommodate longer. The longer it is, the more screwing around you’ll be doing under the seat :)

The rears are $12 per on Amazon, and two are required. I know they're stainless, which I'd want anyway, but the price is still making it difficult for me to click Add to Cart.

I need to find those $12 versions! The link one of you posted earlier led me to these...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A9 ... UTF8&psc=1

That doesn't take you to the $12 version?

I had only one on so far, and I had to take my seat off today to figure out why my heated grips weren't working (turned out to need a controllerectomy). It was significantly easier to get it off than to fiddle around with the damn ratchet with the remaining 5mm hex socket.

Worth $24 to me, but if you're feeling cheap here's an alternative:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JV ... UTF8&psc=1

I can confirm that these work too, but I find the knobby ones to be easier to use.

Okay, this time I opened your link and added the item to my cart through FireFox, instead of the Amazon app, which didn't force me to go through all of the characteristic selections. Thanks!
