2015 M70/Retro Oil Filter?
Am I blind? I can't find any reference in the manual:
Is there a good thread (or quick advice) on here listing filters for a 2015 and other similar model type filters? (IE FRAM model#, etc..)
So if I looked in the pictures in the manual I could see the numbers on the filter....I'm at work so I can't crawl under the bike...
I see it's a Mann W75/3 one step closer..
OK... (this must be it):
Oil Filters:
Mann W 75/3
Napa Gold 7207
Fram PH6017A
Fram PH10959
Fleetguard HF7615
Baldwin B307
Carquest 84207
Wix 57207
Bosch 3300
Napa 1358
Napa Gold 1365
Mobil1 M1-108
Wix 51358

So if I use one of these alternatives, I can expect my rig to self-destruct and a soviet nuke to auto-home on my head right?

Can't imagine an 015 Retro would have a different filter than the other Ural models. On my 014 GU I've exclusively run the Mann 75/3. They fit properly and filter well and easy to find. Heck even Amazon sells them.

Mine came with the Mann 75/3 already fitted from new!
So there.
NB: Mann 7003 is identical.

I bought a Mobil1 M1-108.....but I'm going to return it. Its missing like a 1/2" on the diameter and I don't like that.....I'll wait for the Mann in the mail....dammit!

Yep I also got a Fram - bit too small, uncomfortably so like.

Re: 2015 M70/Retro Oil Filter?
looking at the Napa Gold 7207:
O.D. (Inches) : 3.071"
Height (Inches) : 2.418
I might go this route due to impatience. There is a Napa with it in stock.
It has a flow rating of up to 8-10 gallons per minute! So I don't think it will have any adverse pressure drop/starvation issues!
It's about the same size **as the Mann 75/3**...its actually just a little bit longer! I just did not like the tininess of the Mobil 1...

If it fits up it should be a good filter. Napa's 'Gold' filters are made by Wix.kevinkrenik wrote:looking at the Napa Gold 7207:
