Start oil threads here so they can be ignored and/or ridiculed by most of us (except for those hardcore few that live for that kinda stuff).

I switched to Redline Heavy Shockproof in the crunchbox and final drive a couple years ago and the difference was night and day. Best thing I ever did.
I am looking at that but so far none in town and shipping is a nightmare. May find it yet.

None local but I checked Amazon and I can get it there and Prime Shipping works. Amazonazing. Usually chemicals are iffy on ship. It not like we are not part of the US.

I may go for that next spring, I want to clean out the FD again and the V Twin in the trany while a help is still not what I would like but certainly livable .

You won't be disappointed. Go for a long ride in town traffic, some place where you're up and down the gears. Then go home, drain both the crunchbox and final, spin them both with the Kickstarter, (key off, obviously), then let them both drain awhile. Even if you see it stop dripping, leave it.

Refill both, and go for the same ride as before. You'll be blown away by the difference. I promise.

I run Royal Purple synthetic 20w-50 in the heat pump. Love that too.
I have a funny wife. Hilarious, really.
I love her, she loves me.

Its on the list for the Trany for sure, be next spring.

Fall is alwyas severe busy getting ready for winter, tires on care, yard, garden, Shed type Barn for the Ural (which meant spiting a bunch of wood and debris to be moved before I could even start in!) .
