Ignition upgrade

Post by BigVic64 » Mon Aug 19, 2019 9:14 am

I have a 1998 Ural Deco with a dead coil. As long as I'm in there I want to upgrade the whole ignition system.

I've read about the Ducati, C5, etc. What do you think? I don't race or go off road, I'm looking for reliable.

Thanks for your input.

I put the PowerArc on mine and have been very pleased with it. C5 and PowerArc are based on the same product. C5 supported me with questions on my PowerArc. Good guys over there at C5.

Also check your camshaft seal while you are in there. Even small amounts of oil misting inside where the ignition is housed can cause problems.

When you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Both are good ignitions. You'll be happy with either.

I installed the C5 Power Arc kit in my '06 Ural engine. 4,000+ miles and still happy with it; money well spent as far as I'm concerned.
