You will need new crankshaft.
Rod big end is done
Pull the left cylinder, push and pull on rod arm, you will see

Before pulling the left cylinder, remove the engine from the frame. Much easier to do with both cylinders still part of the engine.

+1 on crank gone bad.

Update: it was indeed the rod big end. Torn down, parts coming, hope to start reassembly this week. Got new crank from gene at holopaw --- what a nice guy to do business with!!
Never rode a sidecar rig until today when I traded one of my bikes for a 2012 patrol. Think I'll learn by the time in turn 70 in july? :D

Fired it up today!! Hopefully ride tomorrow
Never rode a sidecar rig until today when I traded one of my bikes for a 2012 patrol. Think I'll learn by the time in turn 70 in july? :D
