The ask is at least twice what it's worth in my book. An 80's Dnepr isn't exactly a high demand item, even if it's "British-Built"

It's a Neval MT10-36 with a single carb SU conversion and a Veglia Rev counter. These were stripped from new and rebuilt for the US market and will be a cut above the average export model Dnepr and way better than any home market grey import. It also has a title. Only downside is that it may be still fitted with the original 'mixing bowl of doom'. most fail eventually, some don't and run forever.

Uk bikes built to the same standards are extremely hard to find. Can't comment on price though

Oil puddle under it looks fresh in some of the pics. Not that familiar with the Nevals, but in my opinion it doesn't rate much more than a well sorted Dnepr. Maybe $3500?????

Two items I find interesting are this switchgear...

...and this in-line fuel valve.

Thanks for the context. As someone who has only a brief passing acquaintance with grey-market Dneprs I appreciate the information. What is the “mixing bowl of doom”?

Still, rare does not translate to valuable, as there are precious few collectors of such beasts and anyone looking to employ it in practical use will likely prefer the superior parts availability of a Ural.

The Neval was indeed "British built". I owned a 1983 Neval. The beauty of the Neval, is it was legally imported from England, and sold in motorcycle dealerships here in the US. Two brothers, Nev and Al (go figure) were fascinated by the Ukranian Dneprs and imported them from Kiev to be sold in the US and in Great Britain. The Neval sold in the US met all EPA and DOT requirements. My Neval was a little special. The model year was 83. It was an ohv 650 motor with a full time 2wd sidecar. What made it special was that Dnepr did not offer such a creature. The 2wd bikes were 750 flatheads. My motor was from a Dnepr MT10-36 and (if my memory serves me correctly) the rest of the bike was MB750. The motor was a real piece of crap, but the cycle parts, transmission, etc. were very good.

Does look very nice. Have only seen one or two Dneprs in person. This looks much better than either of those.

I am curious about the bowl of doom as well. Clutch basket, final drive?

My Neval had the SU carb and adapter removed and replaced with a pair of 30mm(?) Del'Orto pumpers.
