Coincidentally the R50 in Marks post and this, if fitted together, would it equate substantial value to each ?

I would very much doubt it. A Russian hack of pretty much any year (I don't think that is from the 1940's anyway not that it matters) attached to a BMW ain't gonna make the Beemer more valuable. Maybe more fun but the value is in the eye of the beholder.
They are both black so there's one association.

Period correct Steib or similar... maybe but you'll pay big bucks for one. You'd also have to make sure the tug has the proper gearing. Just because it has the sidecar lugs on the frame doesn't mean it's set-up for sidecar duty. It's a rabbit-hole.

It already has BMW roundell on the fender. And the wheel can be swapped to 18".
Might be 1970's or so. Actually, it looks like M-62 tub.

Edit: tub instead of tab...

It looks like probably a 70’s or later Ural tub.

Is it a find? Well, you found it, so it is a find by definition :)

Is it a deal? Not a chance. Thousand bucks max, assuming it is in good shape.

Things aren’t valuable just because they’re old, they’re valuable because there’s some demand for them. Outside of this esteemed crowd, there is virtually no demand for old Russian tubs, whether they’re from the 1940s or 1980s.

To be honest, attaching it to an R50 would probably make the R50 worth less.

There was recently a nice clean "newer" Ural tub in the LA area for about $1200.

I also think that $ 2000 is too much for a 80ies or 90ies Ural sidecar with a bent nose. Well, the R50 tail light might be worth something but it doesn´t pay up the rest

Even here in Germany the time for buying a whole sidecar for € 500 is over since a few years. But I reckon, you´ll find something more reasonable between $ 1000 and 1200 if you´ve got time...
