Well that sure helps explain why 21k Ural’s are a bargain, and by the looks of the 2019s they’re Probably better too from my point of view.

I did some pricing on custom rigs before getting my 2018 M70, I think it's safe to say that rig was probably over $45k OTD new.

Lew,
Looks definitely fast and sleek enough for my dream torpedo, but way out of my price range. I gotta admit after going to Quartzsite, road trips with the Ural aren't as intimidating as I have thought. :D

Try fixing that with a hammer and vicegrips :brickwall:

I don't know, fellas. It's a lot of money for something that doesn't have reverse or 2WD.

For that money, I'd get a Mobec:

One day, when my kids are grown and I'm ready for some serious touring, I might do just that.

Long before I got the idea of getting Ural, some years ago I was looking at putting a tub on my old 850 Moto Guzzi. First prob, second-hand / used practically unobtainium. Anything cheap was literally a pile of scrap. Second prob, buying new. Like buying a second brand new bike. Then you start getting into the custom shop jobs, matched paint, LL forks conversions, suspension conversions, "car tyres", stooopid amounts of money! :o Like, shopping for luxury car sort of territory ...
