That is definitely how life goes. I live in California, so I know the tax shakedown as well as anyone.
There will be plenty of time in your life to scratch all your motorcycle itchs, school is more important for now. You made a wise choice to take care higher priorities.

It was sold, then today the Buyer pulled out. I'll relist it on CL tomorrow. I had a couple of other potential semi-serious Buyers and a whole lot of unbelievable offers. Can you believe $500? How about trading my $6000 motorcycle for a 5 years older $2000 bike? When people follow up the offer with "It doesn't hurt to ask" I'm pretty well done with the conversation.
So as of 4/24/18 my Ural is still available.

Just out of curiosity and because I never asked before, what's the reason for lining the sidecar interior? Keeps it from pooling water and rusting out the floor?

It keeps the paint from rubbing away and rust finding a place to form. It gave it a more rugged feel too.

It looks like the bike has sold to Gentleman from South Dakota. I feel like it's going to a good home, so I'm happy. One offer I had was from a Guy that wanted to turn it into some sort of ranch vehicle. That didn't seem right somehow, so I'm pleased that it is going to a Rider.

Good for you, congrats on your sale.
These things end up being like an old dog or favorite horse. Going to "a good home" is a common thread here.

Lee,

I just put the check in the mail. We've been feeding the pony express oats this week so maybe you'll have it on Monday.

Looking forward to getting active with a Ural again.

Best,

Jeff
