A warning again about the fairgrounds, do not set up your tent in the grass but anywhere outside the fence is cool. It really would be best to give a yell before people head down to the fairgrounds so we can meet up there just so we can make sure everyone is situated together in good spots.

No problem parking the trailer next to the tent if you want. You can park it at my place or Rich's also. Same offer if you give a call when you hit town you can run by the house and we will run down to the fairgrounds with you and help you get situated. Rich and I are both about a mile from the fairgrounds but he has a lot more room to park trailers and such.
If you pm your phone number I'll give you a call when I hit town.
Tom

Light turnout this year but not surprising since it snowed and rained pretty much all week. We did get some good rides in though but I did not get many pictures so I will let the other guys post up what they got.

I didn't trailer either of my Ural rigs to this event. Instead I brought my 2006 Yamaha TW200....

Any thoughts about 2020 yet?

Made the drive out there in 2018 and I'm ready for another adventure.

I saw a post on FB that it is from April 27th- May 1st. It is being held in Moab at Archview Resort/campground. Sounds like there are 10 Ural’s so far, otherwise I haven’t heard anything

Do you have any "Handles"/names of possible attendees for the 202 Moab Archview thing? Curious.

YMMV

I know there is a get together in Moab April 27th 2020 - May 1st 2020 and from what I have heard there are about 12-14 Ural’s showing up. I am going and have reservations for the whole week at the campground everyone in staying at, but that’s all I know. I do not know who is organizing it or who is exactly going. I have only seen a post on Facebook and found out from there the little info I have.

I haven't seen the Facebook postings(s). However, I do remember that in Spring 2018, when a bunch of us Soviet Steed folk were in Moab, there was another group of close-knit couples, who, I believe, were from Southern California, staying at Archview for the week. They never rode with us, and did their own adventures. - Could this be them?

Exactly what I was thinking.

It's too late for me to plan for the 2100 mile drive there for this year, but I'm game to start planning ffg or 2021 :)
