Don't breed, or buy, while shelter dogs die. .. ..

I will absolutely get a shelter/rescue dog. Not only wouldl finding an affordable specimen of the little white dog - be less likely than being struck by lightning - but I've seen some very appealing rescue dogs. Just need to get my "supervisor" to sign off on one she likes also.

I did not realize it - but some of the rescue dogs - even ones ending up in a shelter in Atlanta - WERE RESCUED FROM THE CHINESE MEAT TRADE.
They have more to answer for than just HUMAN RIGHTS abuses. God will get them for this.

OH BOY ! I got a wonderful Dog from the Shelter in Ellijay Georgia. It is called a MOUNTAIN FEIST & a Squirrel Dog. Mine is fine looking 17 lb 1.5 year old Male, with dark brindle & white markings. He is very strong & athletic - & came very close to making good his attempt to jump on the dinner table - so funny I almost choked. We have spent one of my best days on earth playing & bonding - he is a delightful little guy. Outside he ran around & barked until he scared all the cows away from the other side of the fence - then felt so proud of himself - a true MINI - INSUBORDINATOR.
Here are 2 generic Mountain Feist Pics - Hope to take some of my own soon....

Very cool. My wife & I have started to look at a new shelter or pup now. Just too busy at work to bring a new member of the family home and just leave it for the whole day alone.
But we’ll find the time.

Congrats. That looks like a fine breed.

Hard to get him to stay still enough for photos. He is eager to please - but still has some puppy ways to outgrow - & keeps us occupied child proofing - or Laughing. He is presently about 70% perfect. I think the reason he was still at the shelter (& wasn't some ones "keeper") is his reaction to other critters. He is absolutely savage toward other dogs outside the yard fence. From the way he shakes his toys - I wouldn't want him hunting ME.
He is extremely sweet to us, stays clean - & even has nice breath. Big Fun Here !
I've forgot all about the expensive fuzzy white dogs
