Kominsky is good... we’re waiting impatiently for season 3...

Have you tried “Lilyhammer”... a witness protection, former mob hit man (Steven Van Zandt) playing in the snow in Norway... what could go wrong?

Lillihammer is great!

Here are three quirky ones we've gotten into that I haven't seen mentioned yet:

Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories (on Netflix) - one reviewer called it "video chamber music". A mysterious chef runs a diner in Tokyo that's only open from midnight to seven am. Each episode is it's own story, and they are only 30 minutes or so long.

Kingdom (Netflix)- 16th century Korean zombies! Don't have to say more-

A French Village (Netflix) - a series that takes place in a small French village during WWII.

2003 Tourist - lotsa upgrades
2004 Troyka - work in progress

Finished Breaking Bad recently. The first couple if seasons were humorous, especially that very first episode. But then it seriously degrades from there into megalomania and the inevitable ending.

I've been waffling on whether to start Better Call Saul. Life is pretty dark right now. I'm not sure that I need more American Dystopia right now. For the same reason, no Zombie Apocalypse themes either.

What I need is a good comedy. I just finished Big Bang Theory. The Vanity Cards at the end are as good as the script of the stories.

If you can stand MILF power shows, Mom is decent. Young Sheldon is okay. I missed Two and a Half Men. Maybe watching the slow meltdown of Charlie Sheen could be fun. Winning! Thank goodness for the TiVo DVR.

Maybe Frankie and Johnny. I heard that's okay. The Komisky Method is supposed to be pretty good as well.
Better Call Saul is much better IMO than Breaking Bad, not as dark and depressing, at least not yet.

Any thoughts on "Tiger King". I watched it and will want those 6 hours of my life back on my death bed. Just when you think it can't get anymore jacked up, they crank the knob up to eleventy... It's a train wreck/dumpster fire on steroids.

For those that don't want to invest the time, here's a "pitch meeting" synopsis. SPOILER ALERT!

I found on Netflix "Death of Stalin", a satirical comedy, I found to be pretty good and rather funny. Steve Buscemi as Kruschev was pretty bizarre. Jeffrey Tambor from "Arrested Development" plays a good role. No Urals though...

My co-worker "White Trash Talked" me into watching it... I went in full well knowing it was a train wreck the whole time the wife is asking "this is staged, right?" It's obviously edited for tabloid-like effect and it was pretty good entertainment for the first 1/2 then darker for the close out.

Riding buddy who makes fun of me for the SLOW Ural is currently teaching his wife to ride with a Vulcan 500. He messaged me Amazon Prime movie called Site, Stay, Ride: The Story of America's Sidecar Dogs. A lot of Urals in here, but I didn't find any mention of this movie on the forums elsewhere.

His wife now wants a sidecar. Now's my chance to corrupt her!

I've been into the four seasons of Black Sails on Starz. A sort of pirate soap opera. Terrific cast. I'm mostly thru season 2 now. Still have a ways to go.
