Lokiboy - Thank you for all this information! It's where I start when I begin to work on my bike. One thing: the video link for replacing front brake pads is incorrect and connects to a video on brake shoe adjustment, not brake pad replacement. Do you know if the correct video link is still available? Thanks again for the huge effort. You put a lot of time into your creation.

Lokiboy. I took the time to glance through your "maintainance guide". This is bundled knowledge everyone should have who wants to work on his or her Ural . I reckon this will help lots of people beginning with their hobby and even old hands who try to solve a problem first time. Good job!

Thanks so much Lokiboy ... I own an EFI Retro since 5 years, so i discover everyday and love this ... endless learning curve on this machine.
As it is for a journey, it is not the A to end B point that matters, what is enjoying is how you travel to this B end point, discovering, being surprised, climbing step by step. therefore going thru this post was or is a great moment. Thanks again.

Lofty/TCF and everyone else who helps us neophytes.....shout out to you all for your video collection...

I GTS'd (Google that s@#t) the BGR from a few years ago when Chad performed the combat donut change - you guys have saved me hundreds of $$$ in DIY with my repairs.

Just finished the donut and what a difference. Never realized how much play was going on with the cT until I just took it for a shakedown.

I appreciate everyone's input - THANKS!!!!
