Header bolt size

Woe unto you that bought the first model year of a major remake, perhaps this section can help address any 2014 and later model Ural "imperfections". Here's a special section for folks with the latest rigs to discuss 2014 and later model-related topics such fuel injection, 3-wheel disc brakes, hydraulic steering dampers, spin-on oil filters and other anomalies that don't belong on true Russsian motorcycle ;-P We've gone from using big hammers and greasy wrenches to needing computers and Ouija boards in order to fix our rigs.
Forum rules
Please keep this section specific to issues pertaining to 2014 and later models such as fuel injection, sidecar and rear disc brakes and so forth. Ask general or non-2014 and later specific questions in the main Hammerin' & Wrenchin' section.

Does anyone have the specs for the exhaust header bolt? One of mine went missing.
Thanks, Greg

I've got an uninstalled one at home for my cT. I'll get you a picture, thread pitch, and length tonight.

Or you could just order one from a dealer. They're not overly pricey.

Looks like it's an M8 X 32mm stud with a 1.25 thread pitch.

Received and installed the header bolt and nut. Decided to torque my other bolts and proceeded to snap my rear pinch bolt. Would you know the size bolt that is? Surprisingly there is no list of load bearing bolts on the forum.
Thanks, Greg

To be clear, are you referring to the rear axle pinch bolt?

You referring to sumptin' like this?

Neat chart but I wouldn't hold my breath tightening Ural fasteners to these specifications. I tried on one of the FD studs, I didn't even get close to the spec & I felt the stud pulling out. I stopped immediately...no harm done. AFAIK! As we say here at SS, "gudentite" is gudnuff.

I nominate Gwtg to complete the "Important Bolt List" for the benefit of the SS Collective. thesquarewheelis did a fabulous job putting together a list of non-load bearing fasteners back in 2013 but apparently nobody has taken up the task of the "important bolts" yet. Clearly this is needed and as Gwtg has made a start I think it only fitting that he continue on and reap the just rewards when the task is done. Can I get a second? :D

Too late; I've already done it. Well, at least I've measured all of the bolts (except the two that hold the sidecar frame to the bike frame) during my 1999 RPOC disassembly ( viewtopic.php?f=10&t=47611 ). I'm in the process of sourcing them online (as was mentioned, some of the Russian diameter/pitch combinations are not readily available) to complete the list, but I suppose I could just publish the measurements.
