Riding new GearUp home - Boxborough to Macon

Started this Virtual Watering Hole, the videos really belong here. Will add them to the post as I post them, Enjoy.
If you like seeing me ride in the rain, you will just love some of these. The GearUp has been properly baptised...in several states, then roasted.

I may name her Buzz8, made my right hand numb. Buzz1-7 were all BMWs...my thumb is still numb days later, wish my butt was.

Who uses windows for video anymore? I use iMovie and Blackmagic's Davinci products... I will want to watch this later when I can no longer ride... Was going to put a short video of just crossing the state lines, but New York just had a County change sign and it was raining so hard when I crossed the Md-Pa and Md-WV borders I could not see the signs... Will make a short recap, but for now, tossing it all out there... all of it... except the very, very end when it was dark and something displeased the camera and it made unusable garbage.

360º in a vain attempt to make a boring ride not...Warning, excessive wind noise.
At 3:51 can see a Ural pass a truck going up hill...
Next one is not so boring. Heavy rain, a lot off the slab in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia...

This one includes a lot of rain, towards the end off the slab and into where I used to live in West Virginia, back in the 70's.
We pass Welcome to Maryland and West Virginia signs, tell me if you ever saw them. I know exactly where they are and I didn't...

Next one will be a HEAVILY edited video (See Lofty, I'm not that cruel) of the 700 mile trek down I81, 77, 85 then US441, SR 83 into Macon. No one needs to see that much traffic stupidity (Charlotte & Spartanburg are simply traffic hell holes whose every "improvement" seems to just make worse).

As promised. 700 miles, 15 hours in 7:32...

I still hurt and she's going to the Georgia Sidecar Rally (GROPE) this weekend.
No mercy on this one... Will be exploring Thursday afternoon for Friday and Saturday rides.

There's no green-with-jealousy emoji.

Great trip report & video. Isn't that acceleration something? And the braking, too?

Goes and stops very well, the go part is quite surprising!
Remember, I took a beating on the M70 to get rid of it and its problems and get this one, so all is not quite as happy as it could be from my side. IMWA did quite a bit but once the the embarrassingly stupid problem was found, when they should have offered a buy back - silence...They know I am not happy with how this played out, as I got played,(thank God this bike has been good so far, except for the speedo) and have gone silent. If Jason or Ilya see this, they are aware, curious if they care. But I digress, the bike, while not one I would normally have gotten is quite good! The seat has got to go.

Also note that the M70 is for sale at UralNE, with a call for price as the price...like i said, I got played and I am not happy about it. But the new bike is good, the old one should have been. I hope for the new owner that the M70 has been rid of its problems, but don't pay much over $10K for it...Dmitry has made enough money off me this year.
