THANK you, Sam. I had been eyeing that the whole time, but have no real NEED for it. What I needed was for someone to come along and remove the temptation!

Ditto! I had illusions of finding some way to make it limited slip/mechanically locking for the ultimate on/off-road FD.

Your welcome my Dnepr has constant 2WD and I like the way it handles over 1WD, and at great price.

I received all of my parts promptly and can say I'm most happy with the sidecar step.
For those of you who don't know, these were the older style cast aluminum steps.
They have some nice sharp ridges and slots in them and provide much more traction than the newer dimpled stamped steel ones, especially with snow/mud clogged footwear.

I've admired them on other older igs for years and now I finally have one!

I also received the part I ordered (parking brake mechanism). Got it installed today and I love it. I like the metal handle better than the plastic one the was on my 08 patrol. Mine was broken anyways (the plastic part).

I got my fuel tank and fender within a couple days and I’ll say I like the early fuel tank much better than my 98. The 95 has the large fuel cap and hole so you can actually see inside the tank to see your fuel level. I never liked the 98 tank.

I've got a couple of these "large-mouth" tanks.
There are screens available for them, to ensure no debris, earrings, loose change, credit cards, bottle caps, or small birds end up in your tank through that huge opening.

Those fuel screens, while seemingly a good idea, can be somewhat challenging to pour fuel through.

Both the MC frame and the sidecar frame are spoken for as is the sidecar tub.
Main parts left are the gearbox and engine. Unsure of the condition on the engine, but the gearbox is in working order.
$375 for the gearbox if someone wants it.
Carbs are still available as well, best offer on them
