Oh, gobium made that, eh? I'll have to ask him if he can fab-up some more.
I saw that the Ural M70 center stand has the extra foot peg attached to the center stand. Would the M-70 center stand fit on any other Ural or are there mounting issues because it's a lower bike?

A couple things I would say about that center stand doohickey,
First, it's easy enough to bend a piece of steel and weld it onto the center stand, or have someone else weld it on, the center stand comes off, take it to a weldor. It's an easy job, anybody with a welding machine should be able to do it. It would be a good job to practice on if you just bought a machine, it's not structural, nobody's going to get hurt if it breaks off.
While I admire gobiums creativity and craftsmanship, my guess why IMZ doesn't install one from the factory is because these rigs are designed and promoted to have a certain amount of off road capability, and in my experience, the first trip into the rough, that tab is either going to get ripped off, bent, or catch on something and cause someone to possibly lose control of the rig. Don't believe me? go look at the left side muffler of anyone's rig that does any off roading or curb hopping. I personally have never found it to be that much of a hardship to reach up underneath and pull the center stand down, even with a hot muffler. After all, how often are you putting it on the center stand? And if you're changing a flat, that hot muffler is now an even bigger problem for you.
In regard to the center stand tab on the Retro, before I built my horseshoe footboard/crash bar reinforcement, if I remember correctly, when I would fly the chair that tab would dig into the asphalt, and if you weren't paying attention could be a bit of a safety issue. I was going to cut the tab off, but now that my footboard hits first, there is no point in doing so. This could possibly be a problem on the Ct as well.
Well now you know what I think  Farkle on!

Happy trails,
