I think I have my Doc at the VA to thank too. They finally assigned a real Doc who specializes in diabetes. Once I got my insulin straight, I was no longer skidding along at the edge of a coma all day. I found walking my dog more frequently helped immensely too. She's a Staffy terrier, she's always up for an adventure. Best dog I've ever had!

From an old-timer whose been on the sideline for a long time (but will be back) to the new guys: Rich does amazing work at very reasonable prices (at least they were back then.) He's done a ton of work for me in the past and while I certainly loved it it got rave reviews when I was out and about.

I just want to add my endorsement of Rich for you folks who don't know him. He is a perfectionist and his work is impeccable. You'll get your money's worth and more. :)

I had heard that we were about to see the resurrection of Daisy. It'll be great to have Steve ( the man, the legend) back in the saddle again.

Wow. Rich back in business, Steve and Daisy on the road -- are we about to see a rise of the Old-Timers? :old: Hope so! :)

Speaking of old timers, here is my Red seat, it is one of Rich's masterpieces from way back. I got it used in a trade, along with a Red windshield bib bound in black leather trim. They are keepers.. It has obviously held up very well over the years, & is a very worthwhile item you will love - in any color. I like the red as it is reminiscent in style of the upholstery in many old Steibs.

Folks
I am back in business right now. My health is on a unusual upswing thanks to some great doctors. Heck, come July I may be off insulin! I lost another 10# in the past 6 weeks. That is down 45# in the last year. But all the pics I had of my work were on Photo bucket. And they have chosen to become an extortion racket. First they wanted $400 a year for me to share my pics with anyone. And now they write to tell me they'll be blurring all my pics so even I can't view them anymore unless I pay their new fees. F them! I'll just have to let it all go. I had well over 400 pics of my seat work up there for folks to see back when it was a free service. I no longer do enough business business to pay for extortion fees, so I am stuck. The old computers and disks the pics were on are all gone now. I have some pics of my work on my last old lap top and it still starts up ok. It just can't go online anymore. I recently replaced it with a little chrome book and its pretty nice to use. Maybe some of my old customers here can post some pics of my work. In the past I have done tonneaus, tire covers, side curtains, custom seats and interior carpet sets and even shovel covers.

Not an old customer, but still one that can recommend your work nonetheless.

Guys. Good news! Someone here on the forum rescued my seat pics from Photo Bucket! He gave them to me in a zip file and they are all viewable. My goal is to set up a facebook page for my business using many of those almost 440 pics. Brought back good memories seeing them. It's weird, but I can remember all the stuff I have built when I see it!

Thanks for that Lofty! You know, had you written me about it, I'll be happy to recontour the dip on that carpet panel deeper and then re-edge it to blend it in. Just send it to me with a note. I'll fix it and send it back to you! Sorry for the trouble. These sidecars are all individually made and no two are exactly alike!
