Welcome, Glenn! And welcome to the insanity of the Ural community.
There are a number of great dealers to order parts/farkles/needed/not needed "stuff" from. Raceway, NE Ural, Holopaw, just to name a few. Depends what you are looking to purchase. I suggest being specific and posting questions here for others to chime in where they might have bought the same thing(s).
Suggestion that you include your location in Arizona as you might have a Ural neighbor not too far away.
Enjoy your new Gear Up! I bought an '18 in January 2018 and love it!!
Be safe.

Welcome Glenn,
I would add Heindl's and Triquest to the list of good dealers with accessories. Also on the windshield, you need to decide if you want a Ural windshield or an aftermarket. I have had both and I think I like my Slipstream Turbo better and it is less than half the price of the Ural shield. Also you might want to check the blackmarket and graymarket on Soviet Steeds.
I may not be good, but I'm slow.

Hello, Glenn. Welcome to the forum.

As it concerns accessories and recurring maintenance items, I'm partial to Ural of New England for the former, and sometimes the latter if item X isn't available on Amazon. Ural of NE has an excellent selection, they ship quickly, and every parcel that I've received to date has been very well packed (a pet peeve of mine when it's not done properly). There are other sources, such as Raceway and the rest.

If you've not already done so, peruse the Owner's Manual from cover to cover. It really is an excellent resource for the wrench-turning owner.

Howdy Glenn, congrats on your new Ural and retirement! With your experience working on a tractor then working on a Ural should be easy peasy :)

Echo'ing the same as the others, Ural of NE, Heindl, Raceway, Crawfords, Holopaw. There are a couple other sellers that have specific accessories for Urals. And some solid things you can get from Amazon.

Others answered the parts questions.

Go slow learning how she works, get synthetic in the engine!

Synthetic would be my choice in the engine too but my 2014 M70 has a porous engine case and it weeps with synthetic. It runs fine on dino so that is what it has. Glenn try synthetic because most engines don't weep but if your's does, just go back to dino.

I thought IMZ recommended to use dino for new engines until you reach a certain mileage. Was it 5k? :?

I'm still using motul but had thoughts about switching to what gene recommended. 8)

Welcome.

Another good place to look for farkles (add on stuff for your rig) is in the “black market” and “grey market” section of this site. Black market is mostly us regular folks selling and swapping around. Grey market is a bit of vendors selling and swapping with us..... some of the reputable dealers listed above even post in there from time to time.

This site and the folks on it are down right amazing. Enjoy getting to know your rig ..... and us, your fellow foilheads :foilhead:

Welcome, I live in Sun City and use the Ural Dealer "Go AZ" in Scottsdale. The Ural tech there, Charlie, is very good and their prices for farkles seems to be close to anyone else. I bought several things including my 2/3 bench seat from them, plus when it makes sense, I believe in supporting local (semi-local) dealers. If you are in the Phoenix Valley somewhere we could meet up for a coffee or brew of some kind?
