BTW: is there any other uralista in the Slough area?
Just wondering, as I never happened to see one on the road.
I'm in Boston and I only met one other, who told there are two others. So there are four of us! Bit of a crowd then. :D

Wow a Dalesman! Congrats on your new rig its looking good. ☺. I'm still trying to follow where Urals are sold, aussy, UK and usa ... Is that it?
I was told, USA & Canada, natch...

UK, Mainland Europe, specifically France and Germany (lots of dealers in both!), and Austria I imagine, because the main distributor is based there (aka UralShop.com for parts and accessories).

+ South Africa, Japan, Austraila. As for the UK, the latter 3 have to have the tub on the left.

I didn't know there was a Boston in England. I've always thought that UK place names were exported adding "new" to it. I should have not made such an important conclusion based only on New York and New Jersey!
But likely I'm not a detective!

Indeed there is a Boston in England and yes it's the original one that yours is named after, :D when the Pilgrim Fathers went to The New World. They had been persecuted and even imprisoned for their different religious beliefs (different from the English state religion). Got the opportunity to naff off out of it to the Americas, so they did! Can't remember how, but obviously somebody got some money together to charter a ship, the Mayflower.

As to the "New" prefix, there is a village just up the road from me called "New York", and I'm sure there are other examples, so no that isn't a reliable indicator. :D
