Sidecar Caster

Post by Wildhorse Cafe » Sun Nov 17, 2019 7:00 pm

I made this sidecar caster (a modified furniture caster) for a friend who was having trouble manovering his rig in his toy hauler.

Just remember to remove it before you ride.

How does it help manovering the bike ? If casters we're on the other wheels , or at least one other wheel , then I could see it working. Not the brightest bulb on the tree... what am I missing ? BK

Handy for removing the sidecar.

In combination with a wheeled floor jack, you can manover a rig sideways or diagonally by yourself into places you simply can't ride into or muscle into easily. My friend has a tight fit for two bikes and is usually by himself.

Shoot! Make two more and you can go anywhere. I like the 'hand hole'... nice detail.
