With that thought in mind, I purchased a bottle jack that included a protective case. It's stored vertically in the trunk.

This simple, Cast Iron Beauty, Lives in my Ural Trunk (only 10" long) until deployed. All painted pretty black with white tip handle NOW.
PERFECT: Fast & easy to use + curved lifting shoe cradles frame tubes.
