Then went under the bike rather than along the sidecar. Also, per recommendations, went to 1.5" pipe instead of 2".
And out the back!

I'd say your photo from top looks familiar. except for a fat muffler.... :D

YMMV

I'm glad you rerouted the pipe down low. When I saw it originally, I thought "nice work, but he's going to burn the hell out of his leg or a passengers hand". The revised version with the low routed pipe looks much safer.

Didn’t read entire thread, so apologies if covered...

The pipe looks smaller than stock. If it is, then it’s more restrictive and you may need to increase your jet sizes

Looks nice.

Yeah, I agree it was a bad choice to go up high. Even with it under, I can feel the heat off it. The plan was to put a guard around it up top so nobody was going to get burnt, but you'd definitely feel the heat off it.

I've also updated this exhaust. Got rid of the 690 muffler. It was too heavy and awkward. I put a nice small supertrapp on it and it's solid as a rock. Sounds better too.

It's not. It's 1.5" tubing which is ever so slightly larger.
