Go to Google and type, "40mm ammo cans sale" and you get several options. I bought mine from www.armysurplusworld.com

I thought I’d provide a bit more information for those thinking they may want to install the storage box.

Ground clearance is 10.5 inches.

Front view you see the side car frame underneath – the box does not hang below the frame.

Side view you can see the relationship with the pusher.

'leo, I obtained two of those cans that were in perfect condition, used maybe once on a sunny Sunday afternoon. They are pretty heavy duty and weigh a lot even empty!

I haven't used them yet...but I've been collecting some real good ideas!

eBay listing states weight as 14 lbs. Looks like it is the correct size for under the trunk though.

Don't forget the 40mm shells! I'm hoping to do what you said and get them powder coated to use as shot glasses!

Scott, I've been looking at the different types of 40mm shells. The type of round dictates the way it is made. Some have the links-some not, the smoke is a bit taller than HE, ect... The smoke rounds are the best for shot glasses-which is the one type no one is shooting right now. I will, however, grab a bunch of each and let you guys figure it out.

I mounted one behind the rear seat. It's water proof and keeps the tools handy
