The rattle-can bandit strikes again!

Post by JohnBG » Mon Jan 07, 2008 10:03 pm

Painted my gas can and first aid box the most beautiful matte black color over the weekend.

No I gotta figger out how to mount them. Anybody installed the first aid box. It looks like the spare tire is gonna hit the box. :?

Does it mount hinges up or down (I'm guessing down). :puzzled:

Post a pic of one please.

Here's the matte black goodness (racka-racka) 8)

The first Aide box goes roght in the existing screws on the trunk. Just hold it up and its real obvious. The trunk opens just fine. Heindle's rear bumper goes on and the first aide box still opens fine as well.

I'm sure your statement above was a typo, didn't you mean to say "green" instead of "black" ?

Green, surely you jest. Green? :P The gas can and medical box were this horrible shade of OD green just dying to be painted black! :o

Either desert tan (for hunting OBL and his buddies) or matte black (for night ops) is the only way to go.
