Hey. Did anyone see the Ural on the tv show United We Fall. I was real excited to see it.

United We Fall is an American television sitcom created by Julius Sharpe that premiered on ABC on July 15, 2020. It stars Will Sasso and Christina Vidal as a couple with young children whose household is turned upside down when his mother (Jane Curtin) moves in with them.

I think they dubbed the engine sound. It wasn't Ural.
Also Jane Curtin said she ended up with chafed thighs from the ride. Certainly wouldn't happen in a sidecar.

I'm assuming the show got paid for the product placement and the continuity guys didn't want to deal with the inconsistency between chafed thighs and a sidecar rig?

There's definitely a stock motorbike noise for TV and movie people, I've sometimes heard the most unlikely machines apparently making "big bike noises", the best I can think of at the mo is possibly that of a wee 175cc 2-stroke Bantam making a noise like a big British parallel twin. :?

the 2013 Tourist I have can be seen in "The Limit", it's in the trailer appearing to move quicker than I've ever gotten it to go. LOL

Check out "American Gods". A gay Arab couple ride a Ural Retro in in many episodes of that show.

I doubt anyone got paid to put a Ural in, they needed a bike and called down to the Props department who sourced something if it wasn't on the lot already.
