Got me a good one

Post by Rusty Nuts » Sun Mar 22, 2020 10:48 pm

Well after 3 years I couldn't scare her off. Not me, not the corona, not the fact that everything was closing down could deter her. Yesterday we closed the deal. The day she seen the bike she knew that would be our escape vehicle. While she was the main draw, the bike did come in second. Now to go hide in the hills for a couple days since our cruise was cancelled.

Congratulations,
It looks like you are a winner all around. Great wife, great bike and a chance to spend a few days with both.
I may not be good, but I'm slow.

"To marry is the desperate attempt to solve problems that wouldn't exist without marriage."*

That we were told 31+ years ago by a Swiss couple. They passed 48 years in "free union" before they were separated by the above. My better half and I were stubborn enough to celebrate last week our 30 years anniversary in this strange corona situation just us two. In fact we have passed way worse situations before and there is not much to regret when you really met the right partner.
Keep it with the old saying:
"The appetite you get on the street, but eat at home."

Live one day at a time as if you weren't married yet and "earn your partner each day new again."*
2 cent from one who really appreciates the partner he got granted by the above.
Every day is a gift.
