Those of us with older Urals don't have one of those. That's why this thread is about tool rolls.
You learn new things all the time here. Never saw that mentioned in the changes.

Another reason to get a newer one, whatever year the tray came in.

Hadn't thought about Fire Extinguisher. I have an old Halon one I can add, pretty small, fit right in. See about hanging it in the trunk.

While we're at it here's my trunk. Only thing not shown is the emergency power pack.
Very similar to mine before I changed out the Husky nags for the knock-off Atlas. (Knatlas?)

Be careful of those spray can fire extinguishers.
A few of us carried them.
If you do a lot off-roading the aluminum wears/rubs against stuff in the trunk.
There were small dents and bulges in the can.
None exploded, but we have removed them before they made a mess.

I carry my spare oil in an MSR camp fuel bottle, the plastic bottle don't seem to hold up in the trunk, again due to off-roading.

I like a mechanical "bottle jack," as it takes up less space and the mechanism can be turned with a large screwdriver or 18v drill, no need to carry a long handle.

Geeze, you guys are so organized! My 12v airpump, jack & rainsuit go in the tailpack, spare parts in the ammo can on front of the tub. Only things that seem to be needed regularly in the trunk are the rags to wipe the seat dry and the coffee cup

I thought the best tool rolls were the thick leather ones I made back in the 90s and 2000s. I still have one I've been using since 2005.
yeah, I might be addicted to brake fluid. But I can stop any time I want.

 for the Tundra First Alert fire extinguisher: small yet very effective; easy to use; can be mounted anywhere so that it is readily available; biodegradable and nontoxic and wipes clean without any mess.

First Alert Fire Extinguisher | Tundra Fire Extinguishing Aerosol Spray, Pack of 2, AF400-2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002U0KGDY/re ... qEb2DEEM5X

Mounting brackets are also available.

Aerosol Type fire Extinguisher mounting kit. Fits aerosol Type fire extinguishers with a 2.5" - 2.7" Diameter Base (AF400-2 Tundra). Package Includes 2 Brackets, Hardware, and Instructions. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077DLGY5W/re ... qEbQ6Q7HYE

I have my extinguisher securely mounted and readily available within arm’s reach on the front of the aux. gas can holder with a Grip Fist clamp. I added some tape to the top so that it wouldn’t fly off, as well as around the extinguisher in order to prevent it from sliding down and off the clamp.

3" Quick Fist Clamp for mounting tools & equipment 2-3/4" - 3-1/4" diameter

Sadly I have the Halon extinguisher from many years ago and not anything to be done but use it if needed.

Unlike the big Halon systems it has not valve so you fan shift it or suck it out when they upgrade to a modern system.

Good idea to keep it accessible.

Although the Chinese knock-off bag arrived Monday, I haven't been available to analyze it until today. Here's the Bottom-Line Up Front (BLUF): The knock-off is 95% as good as the original. Do not hesitate to purchase one. It's an exceptional value.

And now, the pics...

Also of note is that the Atlas came in a really nice cardboard box, which I saved somewhere, but I didn't take time to find. If I'm not mistaken, it came with shooting targets printed on it. It also came with instructions, a nice Atlas product catalog, and some stickers. The ChiCom came in a clear plastic bag with some dessicant in one of the pouches.

For the money, the ChiCom is undoubtedly the way to go.

Chad: It looks a lot like my tool selection except you went with sockets and I went with long pattern combo wrenches.

Did you pare the sockets down to the Ural sizes?

No hammer yet. My meter is more than I need but its spare from work. I have one of the MegaPro scrrew driver setups and its dynamite, first one I cam across that works (and the bits are insanely hard)

I would recommend the Nikko Billet hex set to anyone. They are very well made, work fast with the 3/8 ratchets (may have to put a long handle ratchet in as I see how it goes but for now its a short one)

I have a couple select sockets but not match for all of them.
