aaarrrggghhh!!!

Post by chaos2 » Sun Mar 10, 2019 10:00 pm

for the hundredth time, car follows me on my Ural into parking lot at supermarket, guy asks how old it is, who makes it, then states "I got a Harley...." and assumes I want to hear him ramble on about his hog. Gee dude, it really looks like a Ford Fusion

Had a guy on a Harley ask me if Putin knew I stole his motorcycle. I told him he was inside the gas station buying loto tickets then turned around and finished pumping gas. I own and ride a Harley (I've owned 5 actually) as well as my Ural and Royal Enfield, but to be honest I don't really care for too many other Harley owners.

It's much worse UDF when they follow you and are taking picture on their phone camera while driving.

When that occurs, I'll roll the throttle back, imperceptibly, so that the laggard in the left lane now appears to be accelerating. To date, only one person has slowed back down to continue their look.

Pacing me in the adjacent lane is dangerous. Doing so blocks a potential escape path. A possibly permanent delay, indeed.

FYI - All, I saw PUTIN pull up to a Rock Concert DRIVING A MOTORCYCLE - on the news, a few years back.
He was NOT on a URAL - IT WAS A HARLEY 3 WHEELER "GEEZER CYCLE". TREASON ? Or easier to learn quickly ?

I usually get "wow that's a good restoration job how long it take you to rebuild it?"

"Er, it's a new one?" (hint, check out license plate states 2017 as a new vehicle registration)

I won 3rd place car show I didn't even enter!

Local cruise night is 5 blocks from the house and I usually would walk over and take a look. Rows of classic cars and guys with HD's who threw the accessory catalog at their bikes. I rode the Ural to the last cruise of '18 and was told by the police (who I know) to pull over and talk to the gawkers cause I was causing a traffic jam in the street.
