That guy musta watched me towing banners way back when. I used to pull up on a banner drop like that to the stall, cut the power, push the nose over, do a 1/2 roll and land down wind in a 7GCAA.

He's probably smarter than I was...I bet he makes more than $25 an hour like I did draggin' rags :P

Awesome flying. Been up in light stuff, a lot of fun and many hours in chopers in the service. BillyG did you ever tow any rags over Daytona during Bike week :?: Quite a few Bellanca's for sale and here is a photo for your desktop :)

Thanks for the link, Kyle Franklin is quite a pilot. :) Don't think a Ural would be fast enough for this stunt :? My first time up in a Cub which had floats was when I was 14 :)

Very impressive :o I've got shy of 2,000 hours of fixed wing under my belt. Never did any acrobatics or tail-dragger...

After 11 years, I stopped flying in 2007. No longer have a need for it and too expensive to just doodle around on weekends. I don't really miss it either, although it was fun at the time.

I wonder how many hack pilots are former airplane pilots. I also gave up flying due to the expense of it! Also my eye docotr was amazed I could fly she said I had terrible depth perception!! Never seemed to bother me riding bikes though!

It's interesting, this was a discussion topic on another forum I frequent (ADVrider.com), we noticed how a lot of folks had the same interests/hobbies. The focus was mostly around bikes, airplanes, scuba diving, guns and snow skiing.

I've done all but snow skiing. I aint tying no stinking boards to my feet. Way too dangerous... :P
