Re: damaged trans spline repair?

The clutch shaft says $350 however Ural will only sell the $650 clutch (main) shaft assembly. I just went through this with Terry Crawford. I didn’t like my splines chewed up especially since I was putting a new clutch in. It turned out my transmission had more problems so now I have a rebuilt trans...

Re: Clutch rod plunger and associated removal

Update. Got the new clutch from Terry Crawford today. Clutch is all installed and awaiting transmission which I’m still waiting to hear back from the doc about.

That clutch alignment tool that Terry makes is a solid piece of kit. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Sugartits? Seems a bit crass.

Can the ID be turned out so it will fit?
Just being playful. No disrespect meant.

Re: Where the hell did THIS come from?

In working with Terry Crawford to solve my sidecar swingarm mystery, I have discovered a part on my 2016 Gear Up that seems to be one-of-a-kind. The sidecar wheel came with this spacer bushing that sits between the brake rotor and the wheel hub... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180302/ffcbf4e97...

Re: 2014 Patrol low idle

I will get yelled at for saying this but I have tuned by ear and I was only 1 kpa off balance at about 1000 rpm(checked with OBDWiz). I’m not saying it’s the best way but if you know how to listen it’s not impossible. Another consideration is battery and charging system condition. No alternator gene...

Re: 2wd lever

My 2wd lever rattled loose a couple years ago. Found a bolt that fit, a washer that fit and a spring that worked (all laying around) haven’t had a problem since. Maybe you just need a little adjustment out of the arm. Maybe tighten the bolt and spring a bit

Re: Amazon Sells Oil

Project Farm just did a YouTube video comparing dino/amazon basics synth/Mobil 1 synth and the amazon synth barely underperformed the Mobil 1. Food for thought.

Re: Clutch rod plunger and associated removal

I try to make it as easy as I can for my customers. Adding a small piece of tubing the correct size and rounding off the sharp corners on the end of the clutch rod with the square that fits into the pressure plate is no big deal for me and it saves them a lot of time and frustration. Super excited ...

Re: GoPro mountings

I just stuck a standard mount on top my spot light and it worked great and I could change the angle on the fly which was nice. Recorded the pup in the sidecar by flipping the camera around. I have since gotten rid of the gopros but the mount is still there

Had mine replaced under warranty. Tech said it took him and another guy nearly all day just to do the bushing and it’s still messed up and my sidecar wheel still leans in. I’ve given up on it like my neutral light and low fuel light... some things arnt worth pursuing, my 2016 gu side car wheel lean...

Re: Clutch rod plunger and associated removal

What Rougaroo said...check the rod length if ur not replacing it. I don't think you'll have an issue with your 2012, the (slightly) longer length came about when the thicker middle plate, where tranny clutch shaft goes through the driven clutch plates were introduced. Dunno what year the upgrade wa...
