Re: 2019 Ural GearUp like new - $11999 (Ojai)

The valve cover looks like an earlier model, single mounting stud. He might have bought it in 2019, but not a 2019 model Electrojet EFI, bar mounted parking brake, and Bitubo damper. most likely a 2018 Good looking out guys !! I got greedy and didnt want to share on SS. Im about 40 miles of cool fa...

Re: 2019 GU dumped it's transmission oil.

Barry I have a questions. Was the transmission case replaced on yours ? With a 2018 ? That's noisy ? No dipstick ? Is it currently JB welds and you're happy with that ? Is there any truth to the retro part fit remedy ? Of all the accolades to 2019 improvements it seems a production problem like this...

Re: Anyone have trouble getting your title after payoff?

That $#!+ just pisses me off too ! I had a vehicle loan that was sold and I made every payment on time. When I paid all the payments the lender (2nd) said there was a fee ( $36.00 ) to obtain title. WTF BS I told them. I waited a few days while it went to upper management who came back and said when...

Re: Ural Fun

In true old school/fart style I have to laugh at the fact that these two think they just went through hell when they had warmers, chase cars ect. I guess they pass for adventurous by current standards. Now you kids get off my lawn. I thought the same thing too when I saw this a few years back but t...

Re: This weekend at Lowe’s

My guess it was attributable to the store management rather than " Lowe's ". ( Purely uninformed guess )

But I've seen stuff like that before and it is way cool.

Re: Date codes

I think it would be great to know build dates. If you have to contact Redmond hopefully you'll have better luck than I did. I purchased my '07 in March 2017 and never met the owner, zero ppwk., and only a recent tune-up/clean-up/fluids bill from a shop I know of. They had zero info/ history on the r...

Re: Rainy day in the High Desert

If it were a Tourist and between 2004-18, it could’ve been me. Thanks for the compliment on the ride report. Very well could've been. Foggy memory it was around '08-'12, and darker drab rig, lots of gear, wet snowy road spray...don't wanna burn too many brain cells, save them for the good vibe feel...

Re: Sgt. Stubby

Yeah Lew that Hachi movie. Pretty heavy on the heart. I saw Hachi by getting lucky when they have the free weekends of movie channels. My DVR gets loaded. Guys, I just kind of fell onto Sgt Stubby too. Now I'm momentarily hooked on this Sgt Stubby history and the movie. Lots of " co-inky-dinks" to m...
