Re: Hello from Los Angeles

Welcome JohnGlenn,

Los Angeles and Surrounding Counties are huge. What exactly is your zip code ? Are you in the WestSide, the Basin, SFV, SCV, SGV ??? . It can be tricky but where ever I go I find the less traveled route. There are lots of pockets.

Re: 2007 tourist

You guys are making it hard for me not to go there! Heck for that price I’m thinkin’, “it’s only a four day drive...” Put that rig in K.C. MO we'd all drive to get it. Just my opinion, but 02 and 03 with the intro of the 750 was a big improvement IMO. By 07 they were a darn good rig. I really prefe...

Re: FS: 2009 Ural Sahara

That 2009 still hasn't sold and the bids are up to $8,300. I thought you said you had a low reserve? :P $8,400.00 didnt cut it either. Hard to guess the add -on value of its history. Maybe an appraisal in order ? One thing for sure is it is a neatly farkled and color coordinated rig.. I bet the pic...

"....take the tools to Home Depot" Actually I had (1) Large Irwin Quick Grip Bar Clamp break at the neck. It was in a Holiday Set of 10 asstd clamps. Since I'm at HD often I took it in. Customer Service said go pull one off the shelf. I came back with a 2 pack. ( Thats all they had in the same size...

Re: The last motorcycle on earth on Amazon prime

 " Couldn't pull a sick whore off a piss-pot. " Good one liner from the movie. I agree with Stagewex, an interesting and well produced drama. I'd rather have seen a Sit Stay Ride II. Clean, zero, no emissions electric anything doesn't exist. Those are slogans. Truthfully needs to be called is n...

The Russian Iron Board is back up. They aren't nearly as active as this site but some of the members there never made the move to this site and I like to keep up with them. For clarification: Is this the site you are referencing ? http://www.russianiron.com/forums/index.php?/forum/11-russian-iron-m...

Re: New MPG Figures (very preliminary)

Howdy All, I realize to some folks fuel mileage is a major concern, I guess it depends on what your priorities are. My main priority when using ANY toy, and to me the Ural is a toy, is how MUCH FUN I am having whilst burning the fuel. Dave  Could not agree more. Same can be said in the RV...

Re: Worst Event on a Motorycle Not a Crash

Im sorry. I cannot keep quiet no more. This post should be titled " Near wrecks ".or " Close calls ". When I read worst event/not a wreck, a few things came to mind. One is near wrecks are not worst events for me. They are a blessed by higher power life/injury saving learning event. The majority of ...
