Howdy DaveO, Great post. However, at the time this data was gathered, the gears in my transmission were 100% Russian, my first Hertzog geared tranny was trashed when the final drive locked up during last years "Scardy Cat" run. After the busted Austrian geared tranny was pulled for factory examinat...

Howdy All, Be advised that no matter how well you prep the header pipes, mufflers etc, you WILL have to touch them up from time to time. No matter what brand of high temp or BBQ paint you use it is not a permanent fix. The only way to get a permanent covering on exhaust parts is to have them coated ...

Howdy All, One of the simplest ways to remove a bearing race is to weld a small bead around the inside of the race. This will shrink the race, in most cases it will simply fall out when it cools. You don't have to go nuts on the weld, it doesn't take much. DON'T get any of your weld on the parent me...
