Re: Stumped by lean condition.

For the heck of it put a couple of new sparkplugs in it. Last time mine acted up like that one plug cured it.

Be careful. His wording is a bit fishy. "my dad's brother" was my uncle for example.

I saw him kick it too. Remember, you could hand crank early V Dubs.
His workmanship was the high point.

It's missing both side covers. The left side could have fallen off but not the right side.
Cosmetic condition is very good.

Re: A "new" toy

I would love to find a TJ that nice for a decent price. We have a JK that gets used the most at our house so a TJ would be fun to mod up for more off road and save the JK for nice

Re: Tractorwatzit

I like it! Looks like it is an air cooled 2 cyl. diesel. I have a 1977 Yanmar grey market 2 cyl. diesel we nicknamed "PutPut". I use it all the time and easy to get parts for.
If it were to have a major failure it would become "yard art"

Re: Someone had a bad day.

I handload for my Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Long Colt a bit on the hot side including a 300gr. soft point to use on hogs in Ca.
I always fear that happening but have been lucky so far.
YMMV
