Update: Finally Got it started. Weird noise. Need advice.

2007 Tourist. History: Initial problem started with a terrifying screech and my ignition rotor ripping itself apart. Rotor installed. Bike running again. Right now I have a whine coming out of the engine. - Video is a$$ but the sound is present in it. https://i.imgur.com/Ak9NcJr.mp4 From the faceboo...

Quick update

It's turning over.
Engine bits are still moving
There's compression so i'm starting to think it's not the end of the world
Spark plugs aren't sparking. Going to replace with new ones and see if it does anything over the weekend.

Send prayers

2007 Tourist 750 Driven like a dream for the last few months. No mechanical issues at all. On my way home I hear a light knock in the engine. Knock gets bad about 1/2 mile later. I pull over in time for my bike to die. I take a look at the engine and my oil pan plug had gotten loose somehow and look...

2007 Black Tourist Touchup Paint

Title

Looking for some touch up paint for my black tourist The black looks a standard gloss black that I could get from an auto parts store off the shelf.

Before I just go nab some black gloss should I bother digging to find the exact paint for a few dings?

20 k is nothing for ural drum brakes. Adjust them properly and ride on.
Rock on.

I'll adjust and see how they roll. Thanks for the advice

Re: Rear Brakes

How many kms do you have on the rig? Why do you think you need to replace the rear shoes? The reason I ask is because Ural rear drum brake shoes last a very long time. theres a bit over 20k Km on the bike. I have to depress the pedal too far and too hard for effective braking and they're squeaking....

Re: 2007 Tourist in Hadley, MA - Bought by a new member!.

Original Owner fabricated a trailer and tow package to go with the bike. I really commend him on his meticulous record keeping and maintenance. Doesn't act like a 12 year old machine. Neat stuff like a parking break, redid the fuel valves, put a radio in the side car. Guy really did seem to love thi...

Re: 2007 Tourist in Hadley, MA - Ad deleted.

I bought it on Tuesday.

It's in great shape. Paint is great, almost no rust on the frame, All in all a beautiful bike.

Original owner made a handful of functional mods and took great care of it.

It's in it's new forever home.
