Re: Accident on 2013 Gear Up

On another note, Geico has "preferred repair centers" I'd try that route if Lonnie cant help. They should be able to handle the body work for what the adjuster quoted.

Re: Accident on 2013 Gear Up

Lonnie and the guys at Lake Guntersville Powersports are good folks, if your insurance will cover new parts they will get you squared away. BUT be prepared to wait for what seems like an eternity for the parts to arrive from Ural.

I might need that dune cycle
Yeah because you need a three-wheeler that is even more inherently unstable than a Ural. :D

Re: Another trailer hitch question. with finished pics

Here's what I came up with. Only cost me $9 for a couple muffler clamps, the rest was some scrap pieces I had laying around. Took a short test run with the trailer and everything seemed to work just fine, couldn't even tell it was back there. hitch1.jpg hitch2.jpg hitch3.jpg hitch4.jpg hitch5.jpg hi...

Another trailer hitch question. with finished pics

I'm in the process of fabbing up a hitch for my Gear Up and wanted to get some of yalls opinion as to why folks run em over the side car drive shaft as opposed to under? I've looked at this from every angle I can and it seems to me that going under would elevate having to relocate the gas can and in...

Not to jack the thread... but those muffler remind me an awful lot of the now extinct ModTops. What is the header pipe diameter on the RE?
Lew, I've ordered a shorter bottle style to replace the extremely long oem one. I'll measure the header when I leave out for work in a few and report back.

Any US based sites for Royal Enfield parts or accessories?

Picked up a 2018 500 classic Tuesday and have been looking for a US based site that has parts and accessories. Anyone know of any? Or can anyone point me towards a decent exhaust that's shorter than the oem one. Same style just shorter.

I took mine off when I mounted my high mount exhaust. PM me your address and I'll dig them out of my parts box and send them your way.
