fig SUPERBLEND BEARINGS

Read a older article on 650 crank failures, the article when on to state that this person installed a fig superblend bearing in the rear bearing carrier, no mention of installing one in the front were it is captured, i am guessing there was a bearing alignment problém causing crank failure, superble...

Re: Cylinder Removal - Stuck/Hard to Remove

My 650 after nuts removed cylinders came of easily after light taps to break loose from gasket, reason for removing cylinders? Motor froze up? Maybe shoot some PB blaster to free rings or piston that might be hung up on cylinder, other wise wordem wedges at base a good idea

Re: CL Find - 1999 Bavarian Classic - $3800 Jasper, NY

+1 on what Chad said! Denso alt and Ducati ignition will run you right about 1k, drum brakes need cleaned and adjusted every year for optimum work, wheel bearings need greased every time you change tires, aftermarket steering damper is a plus, quality on builds of 650 during the 90's was horrible, m...

Ural 650 air filter replacement element

When I bought my 97 650 it had a small BMW air filter, finally scored the factory plastic housing but no element just a green stringy rope inside, I guessing this is the horse hair style? I am wondering if someone has replaced with a purolator, gram, k&n paper or foam style element and would like to...

Re: Wtb 650 ignition

Of course I would piece meal the ignition to keep it running but in the long term I would be saving my money for a ducati or C5 ignition and what I have to do to make it work! Affordable hell no! $400 and some change, when factory ignition on my 97 Ural quit I replaced with ducati ignition, GAME CHA...
