Re: Intro: New Ural Owner in PA

Welcome, nice color rig! I have a 2015 with the "glossy" paint (crappy powder coat). When I picked up my ural (UNE) the woman (Russian) put purple on the DMV documents! It was to much of a hassle to change it so I kept my mouth shut. Registration still says purple. Enjoy the ride.

Re: Garmin vs. Google Maps (those using Garmin)

harryball, try the Furkot route planning program online. I have used it on several occasions with my tomtom with some fairly good route planning. Includes options like locating gas stations based upon your miles per tank and also locating restaurants and motels, etc.. Last summer we did a four day b...

Re: Forwarded from a friend...

You are correct El queso. 7.5 billion is too many people for this planet. We should be concentrating on population control so we can sustain this world of ours. I'm not advocating any type of genocide or anything like that but we need to get our populations under control. We are sucking Earth dry of...

Re: Stuff That Works

+2 on the MotionPro disconnects. Side discussion, though. I initially mounted mine the way Dave has his routed, but for me the gas line kept cracking at the sharp bend and the line got in the way whenever I had to do anything on the battery. I finally used a longer length of 1/4" gas line and route...

Re: Did you ride today?

Finally got to the summer place in Maine on Saturday, took the ride out of storage late on Sunday. I was eager to hit the pavement first thing on Monday. But Murphy showed up, came down with a horrific head cold late on Sunday night (I haven't had a cold in 3 1/2 years). Just got out of bed this mor...

I can't see any of the attachments. When I click on an icon it brings me to a Russian dating site. Is this a legit post or am I just out of the loop?

Re: why HD sales are soft!

All motorcycle sales have suffered since the recession. Yes, millenials aren't buying as many. They carry a lot of debt and they have different interests, perhaps. Harley ownership was, for a lot of boomers, a fad. Of course, some genuinely loved the bikes. But many found they could afford the fad ...

I like the spare tire cover, anyone know where to pick one up for a 19" wheel?
