Re: Aligning the Toe In

:lurker: Don't forget to mark your struts as well, because if you change your toe-in you will need to shorten or make longer your upper frame connection points. Or just keep adjusting it, 'till you find a favorable adjustment for you and leave it there. There is no "one size fits all". Operator weig...

Re: Ural Gear Shifting and RPMs

On '07 GearUp I go to 2nd @15-20 mph, 3rd @30-33, 4th @ around 45-50. But it depends if it's downhill and engine speens freely and it gains speed with inertia, I shift at lower speeds. I like the symphony of Ural engine. Being a conductor I have to listen to it's music :D And yes, sometimes looking ...

Lets throw this into the mix. Bike runs on with any combination of: right handlebar controls disconnected at harness plug; either or both relays removed.
Dumb question, probably. Just need clarification.
How do you turn it on? Do you mean the lights only or the engine turns on with a kickstart?

Re: Relay issue - Not Really

Electrical gremlins... give it a good tap or two with the handle of a screwdrive on your kill switch housing?

Re: Free Windscreen - Just pay shipping

My zip is 91405. Let me know what the shipping cost may be.
It is a slipstrimmer, right?

I have the larger version installed, but yours might be better for summer.

Thanks.

Re: ground locations

I am not familiar with 2015, but your battery should be (most likely) grounded to your gearbox. You may also see the starter grounded in schematic...it does not require a wire connection, since it is bolted to the gearbox/engine. Your throttle bodies and the neutral switch are also grounded. And the...

Re: Ural Gear Shifting and RPMs

Here is old 650cc shifting speeds recommendations from 1998 for sidecar and SOLO models, some with 3.89 FD ratio... Nothing to do with modern 750cc Urals.

Re: Trailer a Ural on 4x8 Trailer?

Will it fit if you disconnect the sidecar?
Or put the sidecar inside CRV?

Sidecars and bikes (Urals, BMWs) fit inside minivans perfectly. Just one at the time. :D

Re: Driving a Sidecar Outfit Exercise Layout

I never had that book and never had any training.
My first ride was with Dnepr when I was 15, second ride in 18, when I did some figure 8's and got my first Ural in the age of 38.
