Re: Banned weapons

Re: Hand Pain

I had BrakeAway Throttle Lock cruise control on '98 Honda Valkyrie. I don't know if it will fit on the Ural.

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

Installed dual Fiamm electric horns from my old airhead 1980 BMW R100RT, which was parted out 13 years ago after using its engine in 1999 Ural Deco Classic... It was a long debate between dual trumpet air horns and a pair of high/low Fiamm electric. Didn't find any good place to install trumpets and...

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

My Ural ran great when I parked it in my garage. That was almost two years ago. It hasn't been started since. I have put the battery on a trickle charge a couple of times, and the battery is fine. Should I fire it up and go for a ride? Or should I fire it up, warm it up, shut it down and replace th...

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

I also placed a perfectly-sized rubber washer from my spare parts bins under the cap nut. Hopefully it seals well. In addition, I topped off the oil level, so the bike SHOULD be good to go for the morning commute, which excites me terribly. Chad, that's what I did over a year ago on the '14 m70. It...

Re: Van Got "Karen'ed"

Sorry for being thick, can someone explain what "Karened" is please, I might have known once but if I had I've forgotten  I had to google this , too. We have got plenty of these women in our country but there´s no such term for them yet. Claus, how about Gertrude? :D She is in my mind ... a l...

Re: Hand Pain

If the bike is constantly pulling to the right because of any road crown (which is almost always the case) and you have to fight the handlebar pushing it back + twisting the throttle that'll put some strain. Cramp buster helps a little. But having a twisted, crooked wrist on a handlebar for long per...

Re: Funny or WTF photo thread

Somewhere between Dual Sport and Adventure. :D Two questions; whats the dual sport dude doing with that rolled up newspaper? And where is the Ural guy? He would probably come with orthopedic shoes and a cane. I guess, the dual sport rider is holding his printed out route of topography since there a...

Re: Pusher vibration

Just a suggestion. A touch of silicone grease on the lugs that plug into the donut will let them move easier with less wear to the rubber over time. I do the same with rubber cush drive blocks found in some shaft driven bikes and in some Royal Enfields. Prevents binding and wear. Its sold as dielec...

Sold? 750cc with 750 miles can become collectors item. Some of 2007 came in all green, including bike and sidecar frames, wheel rims, hubs, etc. Some came with black frames, wheels, hubs, spokes, etc. Mine is all green. No MG mount. I guess they put together whatever they had in various quarters and...
