Re: Sidecar for sale

Isn't it sold yet?
Oh, man. I would have bought it if it was close and had famous Rich Maund's door curtain. :)

Really guys, it is a nice and sturdy sidecar. I remember when Rich build it and very first pictures posted.

Re: Best windshield Fairing or Plexistar 2?

I am also now thinking of adding a laminar lip... I like the look of no fairing or windshield, however protection is must to keep wind out of my chest. Hand protection is also needed, especially in colder weather riding with higher speeds. I like Harley Electraglide batwing but something like that i...

Re: I Bought An RPOC Today

Hah! I was wondering what that little buoy was hanging infront of the door and isn't it going to interfere with "the normal operation". :D

Re: I Bought An RPOC Today

Wifi motion sensor with chime (I don't know if there is such available) inside your mailbox will let you know when mail arrived or mailbox was opened/closed. And if it has an app you will get notified on your smartphone. Probable Ring, Bing, Ping...one of them may have such a sensor. :) Or another p...

Re: Best windshield Fairing or Plexistar 2?

You can search with each maker's name and read only the threads like arrived, installed, etc.

search.php?keywords=National+cycle+Windshield

search.php?keywords=Memphis+Shades+Windshield

Some taller guys use clip-on extensions.

I thought there was knocking on the right side... 8) Well done! Good to have it back in order. Happy trails! Don't make me more paranoid than I already am. It sounds different than it did before. I will have to get accustomed to the noises again. I hope all is well. Oh no. I was referr...

Re: I Bought An RPOC Today

Mailbox setup looks good. I would love one more touch to that thing - a small 4-5 foot heavy, cast anchor. That'll prevent mail truck or any other approaching your mailbox.

Re: Best windshield Fairing or Plexistar 2?

I had a Memphis Shade Malibu on one of my Urals. Now I have a Slipstreamer S-05 Turbo.

Both give wind buffeting in my face. I am a short guy, just 5'11".

You can keaword search for windshield on this forum to research a bit.

Re: Fuel Filters

I like cleaning my carbs for therapy. :D Gas tank cleaning and flashing is good. Better yet if your tank is lined on an inside to block any and all rust, paint flake particles. Fuel filters and fuel lines are cheap insurance and can be swapped once in a year or two if you like. Brass T connectors ca...

Just like yours but all three are electric 220v. We never used one. Just as souvenirs for decoration, collecting dust.

Re: Getting started on a cold morning

Looks good!
I think you have to mount tsar's boot upside-down on the top of that samovar and pump it as your Kickstarter to make it heat faster. And you also need a vent hood. 😃

Edit: typo corrected.

Re: "How To" (And how NOT to) add vacuum ports to your throttle bodies.

Great methodical write up.
As I saw it only internally shorted board would put voltage to the (outside) body.
