Re: Parts needed.

I recommend that you list your outfit's year and model in your signature line, along with your location to avoid future confusion, Hubie.

Re: Photos showing 2020 breather vs 2018 breather

Does converting an early EFI engine to the new breather require a new cam with a star-drive end or will my 2015 cam properly engage the new-style breather?

Re: Gear Up increased suspension travel

Isn’t the rear suspension travel limited by bump stops? It is and on many models those bump stops serve triple duty as the rear footpeg mounts and muffler hangers. I suppose the rear footpegs and bump stops could be removed and the mufflers relocated in this quest to make the Ural into something it...

Re: Ural Extended Reverse Shift Lever

I've been curious about these. I guess this is my chance to lay hands on one to evaluate it in comparison to my various Raceway shifters.
Maybe I'll like it and keep it; maybe I won't and will re-sell it. We'll see...

PM sent.

Re: K&N filters

I've got a Leftka airbox kit, but I have not yet assembled it. Looks extremely simple to duplicate for the other rigs.

Re: Military motorcycle MW-750 for sale

I understand that Dutch to English language translation is a slight barrier here, but just to clarify, your offer includes the motorcycle with sidecar, the trailer, all accessories pictured (except the machine gun), and delivery to the U.S. for $13,800? Is this correct?

Re: Trailer question - Tech?

While aluminum is less susceptible to corrosion than iron, since it quickly forms an oxide layer, that protective aluminum oxide layer is vulnerable to road salt. Be sure to rinse any salt or calcium chloride off of your trailer as quickly as possible during winter hauling to keep the white powdery ...

Re: Paper vs rubbery timing cover gasket?

In my experience, the more modern gaskets release from the sealing surface much easier than the paper gaskets, ESPECIALLY when compared to shellac-coated paper gaskets. For me, this makes all the difference when cleaning up separated sealing surfaces. I always choose the more modern gasketing option...

Too far downstream for an O2 sensor? You could have the 1st 650 upgraded to FI
Ha! Also probably not best to have the sensor pointing straight down from one of the lowest points of the rig. That sensor wire wouldn't stand a chance!

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

My 11 April Russian Garage order finally arrived today. COVID-19 had shipping from Russia significantly delayed. Among some 650 Ural necessities, I threw in a "fun" purchase of a 2-into-1 header. 2020-06-27 11.38.39.jpg I had forgotten about how these are constructed until I peered into the junction...

Re: KMZ Dnepr600 Trailer Acquisition

Thanks for the tip. I tried Evapo-rust and found it to be most effective. Now it's time to evaluate another product.

I wonder if I'll need to fill those pits with Bondo before priming? They're kinda deep. 🤔
