And how many people have (pretty sure Fluke 87 meter?) I just had to put in my Fluke History , every one I got I still have the first one in 82 roughly and the last about 2005.
Flukes are great DMM’s, I have probably calibrated 1000’s of them during my 26 years as a calibration technician.

Re: Electrojet body electrically hot

While re-installing my left throttle body the edge of the body touched the starter case and sparks were present. The body had the ECU connected and the key in the off position. Is there something shorted in my throttle body to make the body itself electrically hot? Thanks. I have a few questions so...

Re: Electrojet body electrically hot

I checked from the constant power feed to throttle bodies from the fuse block and didn’t have any continuity.

I circled the wires I checked on the wiring diagram.

Re: Electrojet body electrically hot

Would be nice if someone did the same test. John That would be great if someone wanted to throw a meter on their throttle bodies and report back. Hodakaguy My TB’s and 2017 wiring harness are separate from the bike, and I was unable to find any continuity to the throttle bodies. I checked ...

Sold 2017 Electrojet Throttle Bodies

For sale 2017 Electrojet throttle bodies with off-road map. I upgraded by bike to the new Keihin system so I don’t need the throttle bodies anymore. The throttle bodies have been re-mapped with the off-road map and have the “snorkel” waterproofing upgrade installed. I am asking $750 (OBO). $750 is h...

Good stuff here for someone who wants to heat a jacket or pants zip-out liner.
I generally use a welder to make heated garments, though never intentionally.

Re: LED light issue

I would disconnect one of the brake light switches at a time and see if the 7 volts goes away. I would bet on a bad rear brake light switch. Also check the bikes brake light to see if the 7 volts are present. If not check the ground on the sidecar light.

Re: Final Drive-Driveshaft Clunk

When you had the bike jacked up was the sidecar wheel still on the ground and not rotating? You might try rotating the rear wheel by hand to see if you can feel any binding, etc. Putting the bike in gear, with the engine off, And try rocking the rear wheel to see if there is excessive play in the dr...

Re: Acewell Tachometer!!

Excellent! I like well thought out modifications, looks OE rather than add on. Yup, I gotta agree that it looks like it belongs on the bike. I think you need to replace those plastic plugs with some special buttons. I'd label one LOAD and another FIRE. Maybe put CHAFF or FLARES on another. Since yo...

Build your own. More fun.

Try 1/8" NPT plastic fittings. Yeah.... it's a cross thread but it works and holds well.
I thought cross threading was limited to cylinder temperature sensors.
