Rode it to my job on what was supposed to be day off. On the bright side I smiled on the way in and the way home. Urals can clear the blues. 8)

Re: UDF is Definitely Real

I'm with Windmill and Stagewex. It's very heartening to see and hear them Russians amazement and glimpse of pride when they come across a Ural. I'm a little bewildered most haven't seen one in decades. UDF can be taxing. But like any other stale conversation I axe it by saying "Sorry to go now but I...

A motorcycle worth more ....

If a picture can be worth more than a thousand words, so can a motorcycle...here's an example of both.

Re: What did you do ON your Ural today?

Wasn't today, but earlier this week spent three days camping in the Bisti Badlands Wilderness here in NM. I suggest a Google search of "Bisti Bandlands' for photo's as my camera went down early in the trip. Pretty amazing area and is where they found the 'Bisti Beast' dinosaur. ABQ Natural History ...

I also asked the seller if the sale included the repros in the sale price ? No response. The ad is still on CL.

Re: WTS: 2021 cT 5 Sachs Shocks, Black, 1200 miles

I'm not sure it's been completely answered here in this thread as TCF posts or in another. Do these fit all year models or limited years ? In '08 when Ural changed to Sachs, were they reversed engineered ? Is it the same shock today ? https://www.sovietsteeds.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=49257&st...

Re: Simple reverse light wired to sidecar switch

Who is the reverse light for? So the driver can see or others can see the driver backing up? That's when the UDF-ness, so to speak, of the Ural pays dividends to us and not just the observers. Every time I've publicly parked the rig where Reverse is necessary, anyone who is in a position to watch m...

Re: Special Edition Ural in Russia

Funny the 13 comes up...we know who you are. Besides the weed and old MC references I've been questioned by a few of the younger generations how I can support the MS13 Mexican gang. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS-13 Reading that there is confusion of how 13 got into the Mexican mafia or th...

Re: "Fully armed ural"

There's more than a few members here who strongly stand by there 650's. Been there, done that and appreciate my "newer" '07 however I respect everyones choice. That being said I think this rig is cool just for the facts of the 2 guns. Imagine the parading around and shows. Maybe not the most utilita...
