I really like this one, a lot of bike for the money.

Anyone in the market should jump on this. Quality built special rigs don't come along often.
Thank you for the kind words!

Come on, guys! Someone has to want this bike. I’ve got more than twice what I’m asking in this thing. It’s got so many cool upgrades for a Ural. Come to sunny southern Maine and take a gander! I’ve never known this group to pass up a good bike, and this is a rockin’ motorcycle.

This is back up for sale! I’d entertain trades on a Kawasaki Mule or a Polaris Ranger.

Noice. Are you willing to share your component sources? ( Also, I rotated your images to properly orient them for you. ) I can never get the photos right off my phone. Re: New Switch gear, bars, and controls.

The friction knob was a mod I copied from another foil head. I have a small adjustable steering damper that I created a la stock Ural (after using and hating Seans kit), but yanked it off because I don’t use much damping.

New Switch gear, bars, and controls.

I’ve been picking away at replacing my handlebars, throttle, controls, etc. I decided to do this for a number of reasons; the circa ‘96 throttle with the chain thing drove me crazy, the handlebars were beginning to rust, and the old switch wiring became really brittle. I added the hand guards (which...

That was exactly my train of thought when I built my GS outfit too, and just where I ended up.

Let's see some pics of your rig! Here is the last picture of my GS-Ural before it went out to Claude in 2015 for a new chassis where it met an untimely demise. I still miss it

Re: Ural Electric Tilt

It lets you adjust the lean out on the fly so the rig tracks straight regardless of the load on the bike or in the sidecar. Having had it for a number of years and many miles, I would never bother with it again. The electric tilt adjusters invariably failed and I didn’t really miss them when they d...

Re: Ural Electric Tilt

@eastbloc that’s truly frightening. I designed my bell crank to be double shear for that very fear. CSM uses single shear strut towers for their bell cranks, with billet bell crank arms. They appear robust.

Re: Ural Electric Tilt

I’d like to think I drew more influence from CSM than DMC, myself! I didn’t like DMC’s design of their early Ural retrofit tilt systems, so I went with something different.
