Re: New Valve Cover Gaskets - Caution

I put a set of Real Gaskets silicone gaskets on my '14 the first time I adjusted the valves. Had them off and on 4-5 times since and no leaks. The secret with these is to not over squish them.

Re: Electrojet balancing confusion

Lofty Your certainty is in conflict with the factory literature that introduced and explained the functioning of the ElectroJet fuel injection system. See p. 4 of the brochure in the linked thread. https://www.sovietsteeds.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=53470&p=680878&hilit=brochure#p680878 The br...

Re: Electrojet balancing confusion

Re: Off-road Map for ECUs

If it was me and I had the non-off-road map, I would install a Dobek tuner instead of the OR map. With the Dobek you can enrichen the FI to your liking. I find the latest OR map too rich across the board. Unfortunately the Dobek can only enrichen the mixture....It can't lean it out.

OK ...I get 40 lashes with a broken brake cable for misspelling snorkel in the search box. If they don't work for 2014-2016, then ???

ECU Snorkle

Just stumbled on this YouTube "Gone Uraling" video about a snorkle, available from Ural, which prevents water ingress into the right side ECU of the 2014-2018 Urals. Surprised it hasn't been mentioned here.

Re: Light Issue

So... You're saying the lights operate normally using the halogen bulb? Then... it's the LED. Of course, the LED should pull much less current than the halogen. LED internal short??
