Re: Non-running DNEPR 650cc in New York, Ebay Motors

This sounds to be a dream asking price. Lets see: non-running, non titled, Dnper at least to me it doesn't equal 4k.

Re: WANTED: Free Garage Audio Advice

Off the audio topic...I would reconsider the door size with the positioning of the lift. What is the height of the first floor? Any way you can go with 9" doors. That would be nice the the lift and also if you get a larger boat. Heck I want 12" doors but my shop came with 9" when I bought the house....

Re: The “Garage-mahal”

This is my detached garage/shop at my house( not including the attached garage used to park the daily drivers. It is a 30x50 pole barn with three 9ft overhead doors loaded with toys, tools and such. No central heat or ac yet; but maybe someday. Sadly with three kids and work I rarely get to use it f...

Big 4cyl or small V6 that gave the car good pep & reasonable milage, manual transmission, roomy enough, power windows & locks, a/c but not much else in high-line trim.
If any auto manufacturers are listing...I'll take one of the above!

Re: Went to the local auto show....new cars are bland

I'm having the same problem. 2004 Toyota Tacoma with 250,000+ miles. Doesn't anybody offer a straightforward working truck anymore? I don't need fancy schmancy I just need a truck. Luckily the Toyota is in pretty good shape so I can wait. I am totally with you on wanting a functional truck new truc...

Re: Progress Report: Resurrecting a '99 Tourist -- Questions?

I bought a 1999 Patrol a year years back and needed to do much of the same revival. Headlight...don't over think it.... take apart and clean the high-beam switch. My headlight worked intermittently, after doing the unscientific test of hitting the wires behind the housing I noticed it flickered. Fro...

Went to the local auto show....new cars are bland

I had a chance to go to the local auto show this past weekend for new vehicles. Now admittedly I want to the Harrisburg auto show which is not where any vehicles will be unveiled, but it provides a good chance for side by side comparison. I will be in the market for a new car soon. My truck is a 200...

Did I read the pricing right? $150 for both or $200 each...was Ivan (or Monty Python) hitting the vodka before posting?

Neat bike but not practical...

Re: Ebay 650 solo

Interesting. They are taking a narrow market bike (650 Ural) and making it even narrower of a market...a modded/cafe'd 650 Ural. It appears the stock Keihin carbs are gone.. Also interesting the fuel line from the right side of the tank appears to be disconnected/missing/plugged. I'll stop my commen...

Re: Selling Dnepr

More details are needed to establish vale. What is the title situation? What is the history of the rig? Is this a Yuri bike? (a "bitsa" bike) Is this an unmolested survivor. While it is titles as 2005, I am under the impression that the KMZ factory was no longer in production at this point. Why only...

My winter project...Ural/Garage Art

Recently I have been wanting more "garage art". I decided to merge Ural and garage art together to make a tool board. A few years back I bought most of a set of dealer tools from a defunct dealer. The tools have been sitting in a old cardboard at the bottom of a cabinet so I decided to turn them int...
