Re: Wtb 650 ignition

By all means, post a photo of what you need. 650's came with a few different ignitions. Type I, Type 2, Type 3.....

I have some old Type 1 stuff if you need it also....just for the postage.

for sale: starter from 2001 Ural Deco

I have a starter that was removed from my 2001 Ural Deco in 2004 with approximately 16,000 km on it. The starter is fine, the engine threw a rod and was replaced with a complete 2004 drivetrain. It has been sitting in my basement ever since. It fits any 650 Ural with electric starter next to the tra...

Re: wtb -FORKS Tele Style

I am attempting to turn a 94 solo into something I can take on the dirt roads into the hills. I think a leading link would hold up better than the Tele style currently on the bike. I will pm you a pic Friday A Ural with leading link forks is NOT a good combination for a solo bike. The geometry is o...

Re: 650 top feed air cleaner wanted

I have one from from 2001 Deco....should be the same chrome housing as your Bavarian Classic. No rust, not that it matters if you are going to cut it up. $25 plus shipping and it does fit inside a flat rate box. Or if you get around the Warren area you could pick it up.

Re: 1999 Tourist

Not trying to slam anyone here, but it really isn't very polite to complain on a sellers post unless you are a inquiring purchaser. Asking price isn't always selling price anyhow. Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I do not know the seller and have no dog in the fight. Just my ...

Re: 1999 Tourist

At that age, condition is everything. I've seen MUCH worse sell for close to this price. This looks like a VERY clean bike.

Re: Can anyone help me identify this bike?

Look closely at the specs for the Deco and Night Sentry and you will also notice that they came with a 3.89 final drive ratio instead of the 4.62 used on the bikes with 19" wheels. This means that your bike is geared correctly for those 18" wheels.

Re: Gearbox Parts

Where is the oil leaking from? If it is coming from the very front bottom of the transmission, it could possibly even be the rear seal of the crankshaft....and that will eventually wet and ruin the clutch...don't ask how I know. Anyhow, to make sure you get the part you may need, could you be more s...

Cam shafts are made of hardened metal. They will break, but they don't bend.

Re: Want to buy a one piece interrupter

Cliff, Yeah I understand the concept but the one piece is too hard to pass up. Once I get it I will fix the two piece and put it in my spares box. Bill Sounds good. Sad that so many 2 piece interrupters were tossed away. As long as it hasn't slipped yet, they are quite fixable with a simple welding...

Re: Want to buy a one piece interrupter

If your current interrupter hasn't slipped, there really is no need to buy a new one piece. Just remove your 2 piece and take it to a good welder or welding shop. They can put a few tack welds around the joint and grind it back smooth on the surface. When I had mine done, the guy wouldn't even take ...

Crash bar is SOLD, thanks Ltrypsin! Re: Ural Goodies

Is there any difference between the left and right crash bar? I think for the right side you just flip it over.
