Hi Folks! I recently had a pro shop switch out my rear shocks on the retro. This morning I discovered that the bottom bolts were pretty loose, left looser than right. I did snug them down with socket and wrench, dont think I over tightened... Does anyone know how tight the bottom bolts should be? Is...

Re: retro sidecar wiring harness question...

retro sidecar wiring harness question...

Hi Folks! I have a retro solo that I hooked a velorex onto. Its not easy finding a decent priced ural car these days. Anyway, I picked up a sidecar harness from holopaw. The main section has 2 yellow and 2 purple wires, the smaller section has 1 yellow, 1 purple, and 1 blue. yellow seems to be main ...

Anyone in SWFL?

Hi Folks!
I am wondering if there is anyone here in SWFL, Naples area, that has experience tearing down the Ural engine?
And would want to work on mine.
I have leaking gaskets and pushrod boots but no place or tools to attempt it myself.

Re: 2003 Retro Stalls after about 5 km

Hi Xpat, are you saying you had the same issue and it was the ignition switch? also the plug trick you mentioned, i dont really understand, if the bike isnt running there will be no spark, so do that while trying to restart? and it usually only takes 30 secs to a minute and it will be up and running...
